All of our products are created by our in-house team of Veterinary Surgeons, headed up by Veterinary Director, Dr. Andy Richardson BVSc CertAVP(ESM) MRCVS, working alongside our Nutrition team headed by Registered Nutritionist Kate Hore RNutr (Animal), R.Anim.Technol (Cert). We are committed to producing well researched, evidence-based products through robust trials to meet the needs of our customers and their horses.
Working with independent laboratories, universities and industry partners, each product is validated for both efficacy and Clean Sport under FEI rules. Our ground breaking research on Five Star Magic, independently commissioned by NAF at the Royal Agricultural University, working with respected Behavioural Scientist, Dr Andrew Hemmings, stands testament to that.

We are a UFAS (Universal Feed Assurance Scheme) accredited company, enabling us to guarantee full traceability on all the natural ingredients we utilise in our formulations, which are selected in compliance with the FEI guidelines for Clean Sport.
GMP + FSA
We are a member of the GMP+ Feed Certification Scheme which does not only define conditions relating to production facilities of feed, but also for storage, transport, staff, procedures and documentation.

For over 40 years, the team of veterinary and nutritional scientists have been involved in ongoing post-graduate study and trials. This has resulted in over 20 published papers that have been peer reviewed by independent experts prior to publication. The team regularly attend conferences and meetings across the world to stay up to date with the latest updates in equine health and nutrition. We are very proud of our heritage in helping advance the science of applied equine nutrition. Of course, we use this knowledge when formulating our products, to ensure they remain as effective as possible for the good of the horse. Nothing gives our scientific team more pleasure than seeing how their work can benefit equine health and well-being.

We work closely with real horses and real people in the development of our products and are proud to say that all our products are trialled on our own horses before they are launched.
