Sustainability & Responsibility

For the Good of the Horse, the Planet, and People

Our commitment to sustainability and responsibility shapes our decision-making at NAF. With over 40 years of expertise, we are dedicated to the health and wellbeing of every horse, from beloved companions to elite athletes, and even those serving in our military and police forces. Using natural, traceable ingredients expertly crafted, and formulated in the UK; we prioritise what is best for animals, people, and the planet. Through partnerships, we give back to the communities we serve while always striving for a greener future. Together, we’re shaping a better world for horses and their humans.

Our products are packaged in recyclable containers.

We are working to achieve 100% clear or white plastic usage as coloured plastic containers are harder to recycle and often end up in landfill.

Natural Ingredients with Full Traceability

We use the finest natural ingredients, fully traceable and sustainably sourced. This means we can trace each ingredient back to the field it has been grown in!

Formulated in the UK

All products are formulated and carefully crafted in the UK, ensuring we maintain high standards of quality and ethics, while allowing us to collaborate with local producers.

Supporting Horses Everywhere

We’re committed to reducing waste and supporting our community. Whenever possible, we donate returned, surplus or less than perfect items to equine charities, helping to minimise environmental impact and support those in need.

Making the best use of the worlds natural resources

We believe our planet is precious and its our responsibility to protect the finite natural resources. To do this we are working towards 0% landfill. All our organic material waste heads off to our local anaerobic digester. The anaerobic digestion process reduces the emission of landfill gas into the atmosphere and produces biogas. This is an environmentally-friendly, renewable energy source used to fuel vehicles, heat our homes and to generate electricity.

In the last 12 months we sent 65 tonnes to anaerobic digestion!
