Veterinary Director - - BVSc CertAVP(ESM) MRCVS
Dr Andy Richardson
After graduating from Bristol Vet School in 2006, my career allowed me to work in a number of leading equine clinics in the UK, Dubai and New Zealand. Since 2012, I have worked in private first opinion practice in the UK. Whilst retaining some part time work as a vet in clinical practice, I joined NAF in 2021 as Veterinary Director. My time in practice has allowed me to see first-hand the role that nutrition and supplementation plays in maintaining equine health. My role at NAF is to oversee product development. This starts with interpretation of the latest scientific research, looking at how this can be incorporated into products that will benefit horses, organising trials during the development phase of products and seeing them right through to market. I have a particular interest in the management of breeding stock and am a part owner of two thoroughbred mares. I’m also part of the Goffs UK veterinary team that is responsible for the veterinary care of horses during their sales auctions. My riding days are over but I enjoy watching my children learn to ride and helping them look after the family pony at home.
My Favourite NAF Product
You expect me to choose one? Can I have two at least….? In The Pink Senior for the amazing difference it’s made to our 19 year old pony, plus GastriVet as it’s our clinically proven product for maintaining gastric health.

Dr Sian Wall
I qualified as a vet from Bristol University in 2007 and spent the next 13 years in full time clinical practice, developing interests in dermatology and geriatric medicine.
I joined the team at NAF and Natural VetCare in 2020 and thoroughly enjoy the variable day to day challenges. I may be speaking to a customer about their itchy dog one day and in Brussels discussing the latest feed legislation the next!
I also still do regular vet shifts at my old practice to get my animal fix. Outside of work my time is taken up with busy family life - my two sons, my two naughty terriers, Stilton and Pixel, and my 3 cats - 3-legged Jasper and brothers Ninja and Nacho.
My Favourite NAF Product
Natural VetCare Ageility as it keeps 13-year-old Stilton the Patterdale alert, agile and his true naughty self!

Head Registered Nutritionist - RNutr(Animal), R.Anim.Technol(Cert), BSc(Hons)

I became interested in animal nutrition through my father, an eminent Ruminant Nutritionist. He inspired me to believe that good nutrition is central to any animal’s health and welfare.
I really enjoy seeing a new product from concept, through trial, to market, and ultimately hearing the feedback from owners. It’s so satisfying helping riders from novice to elite. I must admit, there is a particular thrill in big wins, like Olympic golds, and knowing our products played a part in that success.
My Favourite NAF Product
Five Star Magic. I’m so proud of how many horses, ponies and owners Magic has helped over the years.

Associate Nutritionist and Brand Development Manager - BSc (Hons), ANutr (Animal), BHS Level 3

Growing up in farming and having horses at its heart, I was always interested in the ‘why’ behind feeding methods, which lead to an interest in nutrition practices. From a young age, checking the livestock daily was conducted onboard our Welsh Mountain Ponies accompanied by a four-legged friend, looking back it was the closest thing to being an actual cowboy!
My cowboy skills became competitive, and I have been fortunate enough to have many wonderful partnerships across the three main disciplines as well as teaching my local community. I love my role at NAF, exploring different ways in which we can help provide improved lifestyles through nutritional functions is hugely rewarding. Then developing campaigns to portray these functions to our customers I really enjoy as I am one of them!
My Favourite NAF Product
NAF Five Star PROFEET range, quite simply no foot, no horse!

Product Development Manager - BSc (Hons)

I started working for NAF nearly 19 years ago. A summer job whilst at university that stuck! I have recently been promoted to Product Development Manager and as I have a wide range of experience working in different departments of the company, it gives me much understanding of how the company operates. No two products are the same which is what makes the job so enjoyable.
My Favourite NAF Product
is the Natural VetCare No Chew Spray which is great for keeping puppy chewing to a minimum.

After Graduating from my BSc in Forensic Chemistry, I quickly realised that I would like to have a practical but analytical career. I gained my Diploma in Cosmetic Formulation and have worked in the fields of Cosmetic Formulation, Wastewater Chemistry and Waste Chemical Treatment before arriving at NAF. I knew the NAF brand, having grown up the daughter of a stud/livery yard manager and the opportunity to join was too good to pass up. My role at NAF is amazingly interesting and I can explore all aspects of the business. Often, I can be found in the laboratory formulating applications, testing, and improving both supplements and applications, but my role also encompasses a lot of regulatory work.
Outside of work, I have the pleasure of sharing my life with my two cheeky Springer Spaniels, and more recently my yearling Welsh D filly, with whom I have jumped feet-first into the world of in-hand showing, securing a 4th and 3rd place in our first two shows.
My Favourite NAF Product
It must be Silky Mane and Tail D-Tangler - it is fabulous for a thick tail during show prep!
