GastriAid
For total gut health, feed Five Star GastriAid for a happy, healthy tummy!
Five Star GastriAid provides gut nourishment from foregut to hindgut. A comprehensive formula to help ensure each individual enjoys a happy, healthy tummy.
Each time you feed GastriAid, it begins its gut journey by supporting saliva production. This is essential for the later processes, which includes helping to regulate stomach acid and promote thermoregulation. It then helps balance pH levels in the stomach, encouraging a healthy foregut environment. Its next focus is on the small intestine; helping to ensure your horse can absorb nutrients effectively by promoting a healthy lining. Finally, thanks to the inclusion of our Five Star BioG, the hindgut is nourished with live culture to oversee correct and efficient fibre digestion.
Five Star BioG combines a useful food source in the form of prebiotics, helping to promote good microbial colonies. We also include a live yeast probiotic to help stimulate healthy numbers of good bacteria, while postbiotics provide beneficial metabolites to support immune function, and help prevent bad bacteria from taking control of the hindgut.
Clean Sport: GastriAid is audited under the BETA NOPS Scheme as suitable for FEI competition. Check local authorities if racing or competing internationally.

Testimonials

Shiny coat and holding perfect condition
We put our new event horse Georgie on GastriAid as her coat wasn’t great and she didn’t seem to be thriving with her condition and we have been so impressed with the results. Her coat is now shiny and she is now holding the perfect condition. We mix it in her feeds twice a day and we will continue with her on the maintenance dose as it is working so well. Highly recommended.

Helped with my boys unsettled stomach
My boy had a very an unsettled stomach, we put him on GastriAid a year ago and he’s been a different horse! He has kept his weight and hasn’t been half as stressy! However the cold spell hit before Christmas and he went very sour so we switched to GastriVet for a couple months and he’s proving to be back to himself again. He is also on Devils relief after some nasty injuries since being a youngster and it’s definitely making him feel so much better.

Since feeding GastriAid our gelding seems to be happier in himself
Since feeding GastriAid Killy our gelding seems to be happier in himself. He is now less grumpy at meal times and when being rugged or tacked up. This makes him far more pleasant to work with at these key times! We are very happy with the product and intend to continue using it.

I’ll never be without it
A few weeks ago I rang your free nutritional advice line as my mare had a very upset stomach following a yard move. She is fed Pink Powder but I needed a bit more to help with the change of grazing, haylage and stress of the move. The very helpful lady I spoke to recommended I put her on GastriAid, including feeding a scoop in her chaff before riding. Three weeks later and I have my happy, comfortable horse back. Issues have been completely resolved by feeding GastriAid (in addition to her usual Pink Powder). I’ll continue to feed a maintenance dose for as long as she needs it, and I’ll never be without it when competing/camps etc. I just wanted to feedback as I’m so relieved to have my lovely girl feeling well again!

Eliminated his girthy and grumpy behaviours
After a few weeks on GastriAid, Finn’s appetite has massively improved. He often would barely touch a haynet, and never finished his night hay or a bucket feed, now I’d say his intake has doubled. This also has eliminated his girthy and grumpy behaviours, he no longer kicks and stamps at nothing, or shows stereotypical behaviour at feed time. He looks and feels so much better!

Since feeding GastriAid my horse has improved so much
Since feeding GastriAid my horse has improved so much, usually every spring he would have to be under veterinary advised care to coincide with the spring grass and increased sugar content. I started feeding GastriAid at the start of the year and for the first time ever I haven’t had to call the vet out.
